When working with standard cement under typical conditions, walls, columns, and other vertical forms can generally be removed after 24 to 48 hours. If fast-drying cement is used, this time frame can be reduced to approximately 12 hours. For concrete slabs, the forms are typically removed after 3 days, while supports can be taken down after 2 weeks.
